Victorian antiques and furnishings throughout the Hotel are as comfortable as they are attractive. A Dutch polished steel fireplace, dated 1799, warms the lobby. An old Midwestern bank teller’s booth serves as the front desk. Above the lobby bar is an oval stained glass dome believed to be the work of Tiffany’s one of many exquisite glass works throughout the Hotel. The landscaping of the Hotel features two acres of lush botanical Victorian gardens with wild flowers, roses, a traditional bishop’s garden and an herb garden, the latter is frequented by our Chef.

Lodging Information

No retreat, seminar or incentive trip would be successful without first class luxurious accommodations. Each of the of the rooms are unique and are furnished with antiques, four-poster beds and fine art. All have been renovated with new carpets drapes, down comforters The Garden Suites are cozy cottages which are situated on 2 acres of lush vegetation and are quite spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortably appointed with Italian marble vanities. Most of our deluxe rooms in the Garden Suites offer king-sized beds, queens, doubles and convertible sofas that can sleep two adults. Many have fireplaces private balconies and views of the botanical gardens or the ocean.

Accommodations in the main Hotel feature spectacular bay views and balconies that offer views of the Pacific Ocean. Telephones, TV in the Garden suites, WiFi and cell phone reception.
